2022 Autumnal Equinox Day Duration - 12 Hours 10 Mins 47 Secs

The seasons are changing!

Oh, I used to know what it meant to grow,

But the seasons are changing!

I used to reach for the light,

She held me; 'You're mine!' She said.

But I welcome night when the flower falls.

La guillotine has done its thing.

Now I am just a stem, like them --

No halo nor head as I wake from bed.

Beware, beware, I used to scatter seed.

But the seasons are changing!

The seasons are changing!

Yes I welcome night when the flower falls.

She will hold me in cupped hands,

As tears pour from her eyes:

Thus the sun will burn me tomorrow,

While the garden below is buried in snow.

The garden below is buried in snow.

The seasons are changing!

The seasons are changing!
